Not really, because abbreviations are an accepted part of literature. The spell-check on here is simple enough to use.(and stops you looking silly too, sorry!)

Not really your example is Apples and Oranges. LOL LMAO etc are all acceptable spellings or shorts for real words. Spelling the word people (peple) is an error The lettering LOL is not incorrect.

No... The only problem I've got is when people type COMPLETELY in "internet speak" (as in your profile) & I can't understand a word they say. After all, this isn't a chatroom or IM window. As far as "LOL", "LMA(B)O", etc., I don't mind those because I know EXACTLY what they mean.

Also, why are you posting the same questions on the boards? Isn't ONE enough?

PS-What the HECK does "rock esquirrel" mean? Honest question here.

Try using the "SPELL CHECK" in the upper right hand corner and you won't look like a complete moron anymore. Shortened sayings don't count.

Abbreviations are just that.
Not spelling things correctly just shows how stupid you are. And ignorant if you think that's being hypocritical, lmao!

You do know that "Stupid questions get stupid answers, right?"

I totally understand misspellings, but that short-hand crap has got to go. it takes forever for me to figure out what some of these people are trying to write.
