It kills me to learn how people think and react to situations... I think that's why the church doesn't work!?

I am 18 and really can’t understand that the most people who goes to church and says Halleluiah and Amen is the worst people in life to deal with… It has gone so bad that I left the church. I just thought that it’s not the solution of this life’s problems but one of them

religion is a way out for people, a way to justify their actions and to feel better about themselves, except for those who devout their life to the teachings, where there are many. but religion is a choice remember, it is a choice to find a religion that will condone the individuals action and give them purpose in life.

It's not working for you. It's works for others. It's also dependent on the church. I go to a place in San Antonio that is more of a meeting. All people of all faiths and beliefs attend. It's primarily artists, musicians, writers, philosophers, and teachers. But, we have our share of doctors. Very few are not educated. It's an interfaith, interbelief group who get together and socialize in the name of all that is good and celebrate life and the beauty of it. We believe in a creator, but allow everyone their own voice as to who that creator might be. What better is there than that? A bit hippyish isn't it? I thought so too, but it works and it's fun and there's always good music and laughter and food.

Not everybody views life and feels quite the same things you do. You are unique and seperate from everybody. Don't let other people decide for you, but don't decide for them either. Everybody has to live their own way. Find your path and live it.
