Daughter wants to transfer a drawing of ICP clown to a wall in her bedroom. I don't have an overhead projector. Any ideas?

Check a Rent-A-Center, you might be able to rent an overhead projector.

If want a color version then you might try and take the image, on your computer, into a Program like Paint Shop or Adobe Photo Shop and cut it in half then enlarge each half 1600%. Don't have both drawings open at once or your computer will bog down. Then you can print the image out on you ink jet printer. It will take a lot of pages and ink, but it will work, sort of. The resolution will make your image very grainy. Use stick glue to tack it to the wall then paint over it with Polyurethane to keep it on the wall. You will be stuck with it though. You could use a solution of Elmer's Glue and water, then that would be water-soluble so it can be removed, but it will be tough. Or you could try puzzle glue.

The best way to do it is to make a line drawing. Convert the image to a black and white image, on your computer, and play with the contrast. You want an image that just has the outline. Since it is in black and white it will be easier for your computer to handle it. Print out all the pages on any printer.

You can then trace the lines on the wall and let her paint it in. The advantage of this is that you can paint over it later.

To trace the image either get a soft lead and build up a lot of lead on the backside, or use Carbon Paper. If you want to use pencils then go to an art store and look for the soft leads. Anything with and H after it is hard, anything with a number and the letter B will be a soft lead (F and HB are also soft leads). 6B is probably the softest you can get; tell her to be careful the lead can be messy. It should be washable though, and pencil lead is actually graphite, which will not cause her any damage unless she eats several pencils.

You can still buy Carbon Paper. Check out:

Take your drawing to a photo copier,There are clear plastic sheets to use just like paper. Copy onto one of those then hold the clear copy in front of a flashlight and focus for the size you want by experimenting, then have some one trace the lines on the wall

icp clowns are really easy to trace or free hand make a grid on the image then make a grid on the wall and just free hand in the grids this would probably be the easiest way or you can just buy the poster of it and traec really hard on the wall then just go over to faint color lines with black and presto

Draw a grid on the wall with something washable and then blow the image up on line and transfer it from the small grid to the large one. Then wash off the washable grid.

if you have any artistic talent grid it and trace it on, you might also try to cut out some cardboard in the design then back light it with a light bulb.
oh! maybe rent one.
