i had sex four days after my period ended i have heard so many different things about when is the best time to get pregnant day wise ... i havent had any sysmtoms of being pregnant other than tight crampy feeling in my lower abs an headaches .. im just wondering what are the chances of me being preg?

your chances are not great. Four days after your period means you were probably not ovulating yet. The best time to get pregnant for most women is about 2 weeks after your period. Give or take a few days. Some women have a longer cycle some a shorter one. While the symptoms you have could be pregnancy related, they could be from many other things too. How long has it been since your last period? You can usually tell if you are pregnant two weeks after you conceive.... a home pregnancy test should work at that time. As of right now, i would say your chances are pretty slim, but if you are still worried wait a week or two and take a pregnancy test.

Well, your ovulation comes pretty much exactly 14 days +/- 1 before your menstruation starts. Depending on your menscycle (28-35 days would be a normal range) and depending on your menses length you could just have nailed it or easily sailed by it. Sperm lives maximum three days, the egg needs to "meet" the sperm 24 hours after ovulation.
Do the math. Good luck!
PS: if you are trying to avoid getting pregnant condom i always a good alternative!

Women tend to ovulate on or around day 14 or 15 of the menstral cycle. Try on those days. Good Luck!

it's hard to say but the thing is ovulation happens about 14 days after your first day of your period. so it depends. i think i might be pregnant too because i'm one week late and i had some very light spotting. but keep our fingers cross. hormones do crazy things sometimes. i guess we just have to relax and forget about it cuz it'll happen when it happens. not likely... ovulation usually occurs 1-2 weeks after your period...

yes you could be pregnant the test wont show a positve result yet but a blood test will
