Not sure what your intent is in asking as this is in the "Trivia" section. Most people I know who move from California do so because of job relocation or the rising cost of living.

People move quickly for various reasons. I moved relatively quickly because I was at my wits end in Michigan. I couldn't take my crappy job and the crappy job prospects any more. As for other people, it could be that they are running from the law, running from debt collectors, running from their past, running from an abusive relationship, etc. When people are desperate they do desperate things.
