First off, Bush ran on his ability to find agreement between the Democrats and the Republican in Texas while he was Governor. He said he would bring civility to Wash. DC.. This must have of been a joke, but it is not funny.

He promised to regulate Carbon Monoxide pollution in the air. Of course, he called that notion off after about one week of being President without even giving a reason.

He worked together with Edward Kennedy putting the "No Child Left Behind" program for our children's Education. But, when it passed, he forgot to fund it to the tune of millions dollars for special educational needs of kids who were promised to be cared for in the bill's negotiations.

He refused to pay attention to the many warnings he had about a major attack from terrorist on America. He even ignored a morning briefing reporting to him that terrorist were going to harm the United States. He sat in the oval office and did nothing until 9-11 happened

It was clearly in writing that there was an attack coming very soon by the terrorists, but Bush ignored the warning and 3000 plus died in New York City.

So, did he keep his promises, the answer is a simply, no.

I think he is doing what most people who didn't vote for him expected. You had his record as governor of Texas so you knew what to expect. Voters are just stupid, why not elect the governor who has done the most for his state. It just seems like a no brain er but they never do. Anticipated effort always seems to win over proven results.

My only problem with President Bush is the immigration issue! I think he is doing a great job with the war on terror and that's what is important at this time!
