Nebuchadrezzar II (also Nebuchadnezzar; reigned 605 BC - 562 BC), is perhaps the best known ruler of Babylon in the Chaldean Dynasty. He is famous for his conquests of Judah and Jerusalem, his monumental building within his capital of Babylon, his role in the Book of Daniel, and his construction of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, which as legend has it he made for his wife because she was homesick for the mountain springs where she grew up.

He is traditionally called "Nebuchadnezzar the Great", but his destruction of temples in Jerusalem and the conquest of Judah caused his vilification in Judaic tradition and in the Bible, causing him to be interpreted very differently by western Christians and Jews than in contemporary Iraq, where he is glorified as a historic leader.

In wine circles, a nebuchadnezzar is an oversized champagne bottle, which holds 15 litres (20 regular sized wine bottles). It is often used for promotional purposes or to exaggerate the aging ability of fine red wines. The bottle of wine is named after Nebuchadnezzar II, the King of Babylon mentioned in the Bible.

Do you mean Nebuchadnezzar?

He was the King of Babylon in 606 BC.
You can find him in the Bible in Second Kings, Second Chronicles, and in Daniel.

It took him 20 years, but he destroyed Jerusalem.

I think Nebuchanezzar is a little closer to the correct spelling. He is a king in the Old Testament. I also think he's the one who ordered the building of the Tower of Babylon.
