I guess it all depends on your perception, biting your nails can be a nasty habbit that can cause all sorts of problems including infections and bleeding. While caffeine is normally not seen as a nasty habbit it has horible side effects like headaches and can do strange things to your body. I do both and neither of them seams any worse than the other, some people don't like seeing me drink caffeine while others really hate me biting my nails. They are both bad.

I would rather be addicted to caffeine than to bite my nails. I could never do that. Plus that is was toe-nail clippers are for. :)
