Sex is one component of a good relationship. The quality of sex tends to mirror the overall quality of the relationship. Both men and women are in better moods when the quality of the relationship AND the quality of the sex is good. From my experience, I believe it's true that men get in touch with their emotions through a good sexual relationship, and women get in touch with their sexual side through a good emotional relationship. When it works well, it works well for both the man and the woman.

I think that a man will use no sex as an excuse to be in a bad mood. You just gotta choose to be happy. However, we men have the genes of thousands of years of men outside working in the fields or going to war so it is hard for us to feel emotion and always be kind. But when we get sex (not sex just for sex but truly make love to someone that we love) then our heart opens and we show more love.

I believe totally that a man's mood changes drastically when getting good sex for a couple reasons...no particular order
1. helps to relieve built up stress which makes a man moody...gives him reason to disassociate himself from reality
2. gives satisfaction and builds a carnal desire to be productive
3. builds security and closeness if their partner is their soulmate which brings happiness and feelings of being loved
