Sony has annouced $699 for the (crappy) PS3...why? I don't want it. (I want the Wii.) Anywho, if Sony wants to really sell, they need to lower the price by at least $300. The Wii has no price, but Nintendo says it will be less than $250....so (if you ask me) they are gonna sell the most.

Isnt it 499 for the lower model and 599 for the high end model?
Either way, neither is 699.
The PS3 will be awesome, though. it does everything. Besides, its Sony. When have they been wrong? PS1? PS2? PSP?
And price had nothing to do with who sells the most, obviously, since the Gamecube is the cheapest and is still the lowest selling system. (Last time i checked)
Either way, im there opening day with my 700 dollar PS3 and a couple of games.
