why am i addicted to the internet? I spend more time on the internet than watching tv. why?

I don't think we're addicted, but we'd just rather surf the net than surf cable tv or satellite or whatever.
If we let it affect our lives, then it might be a problem. maybe some of us ARE addicted.....could be worse, could be cokaine or krack.

I'm the same i've recently got hooked on the internet and just really love all the fact finding,chat rooms and all the other cool stuff and basically tele is pretty much crap if you ask me unless you've got sky,but sky has'nt always got something good on!

Because it is interactive entertainment... You direct it, and don't just veg in front of it...
And if you are lucky, you get great people to chat with... Or some bible-bashing froot loop you can just ignore with the push of a button!!! :D
