Considering Caminiti died of cocaine and opiate overdose with cononary artery disease and cardiac hypertrophy as contributing factors, I doubt Bonds has much to worry about in those regards. Unless, of course, he's doing other illegal drugs besides steroids.

Anyways, I think the steroids issue in MLB is quite appalling. Well, even more so than that, is the fact that until now, the commissionner has basically done nothing about it.

Just because Bonds hasn't tested positive for substance abuse (Would we find out about it if he did?) doesn't mean that he hasn't taken steroids at some point in his life. He admitted that he took steroids, however unknowingly it was. An admission takes the place of a positive test.

I think it's pretty sad that he said he didn't know he took steroids. I always make sure I know what I'm taking, even if the doctor gives it to me.

I guess that makes me smarter than Bonds, eh?
