Make an appointment with your ob/gyn to have a blood test. When you get the results (usually only takes a day...sometimes less) let him listen in on the phone extension when your doctor calls to tell you it's negative.

I thought I was pregnant when I was 42. I took 6 pregnancy tests and 3 were positive and 3 were negative. Have him go to the Dr. or clinic with you so he can see for himself whether you truly are or are not pregnant. A blood test is the best way to find out.

Tests don't usually come back with false positives, if it's negative now, you probably had an early miscarriage. The best thing tto do is to go to the doctor of health clinic and have them do a blood pregnancy test. Then you'll know for sure.

My concern would be that he wouldn't believe you,why would he think that you'd be lying to him about something that important? You may want to consider your relationship with a man that thinks you might lie & that you feel you need proof to make him believe you. The only foolproof test is a blood test done by a Dr. If you don't have a relationship with someone that trusts you, then wait on getting pregnant til he has more trust in you, this kind of needing to prove your telling him the truth could get worse,so think about it.

Take another test or visit a doctor to make sure you are definitely pregnant. What are you doing with a guy who would accuse you of lying about something like that in the first place?

Check the label on both pregnancy tests to see what detected HCG level is. I would guess that the one that was positive was correct and the one that was negative just means you don't have high enough levels for that particular one to see. I was 7 weeks before I got a positive on a pregnancy test- my HCG levels were lower when compared to the detectable levels.

Its more than likely that you may have gotten a false negative. Those are more common than getting a false positive. Just take another one in a few days. But if you want to be absolutely sure than get a blood test done. Just explain to him that these things arent always accurate.

Tell him the truth, that you had one positive test result and one negative one. Then you need to see your doctor and have a blood test. Then there will be no question as to whether or not your are pregnant. Blood tests are far more accurate then urine tests.

Is there a good reason why the first one showed positive? Did you not do something right? He will eventually have to believe you when you are not showing by the end of the 9th month. Some men seem so silly!

Go to a clinic or Dr. and get tested there, then tell him the news after you know for sure. He will have to believe an answer from a professional.
