Who can I contact for help through emails other than local news channnels and papers and churchs??

I am looking to get incontact with local rep's or our memebers of congress on a issuse and although I can write them I can not seem to find a single e-mail address.Last I checked are they not elected by the people and our "tax dollars" pay there salary so how is it when a honest average american wants to contact them its almost a better shot at hitting the lotto?
