Realistically, no one is sure how many operatonal nukes the DPRK has. The Federation of American Scientists is one of the best sources for information on this subject - but as even they admit, "Nevertheless, it has remained unclear whether North Korea had actually produced nuclear weapons due to difficulties in developing detonation devices."
They have enough plutonium and HEU to make several dozen weapons, if they had advanced techniques to make them efficiently. Failing that, surely several crude nuclear weapons should be possible, but it's not even known if they're that far. Their sharing of nuclear tech with Libya may shine light on the situation in years to come, as Libya has been giving information to the US and other countries recently about its nuclear program.

it is unknown how many nukes north korea posseses. North Korea claims to have many nukes but realistically the north has anywhere from 0-7 nukes but no way to fire them via long range.
This should help:

About 0 to 7. Or, about 9,955 fewer than the United States.
