No, children should not be having sex. It is bad for both their health and their heart. It will mess them up.

Yeah, too bad the parents aren't doing what they are supposed to do. Maybe you should talk to your parents and they can help, or tell the school counselor. THEY can get help for that family.

No a 13 year old is too young to be having sex. Sex brings about things that any 13 year old is unable to handle. Sometimes consequences of sex do not show themselves for a long time either ( like HPV a STD) and for every person someone has sex with it increases the chances of getting HPV by 35%. Besides all the emotional baggage that comes along with having sex may also not appear right away but WILL eventually rear its dirty head some day.
So basically at age 13 sex is unacceptable in any situation.

Well i dont think that is right she should wait until she is at least around 16. Like at PROM. And i am a parent of two teenagers a boy 16 years old and a girl 13 years old. she volunteers during the summer and she helps in the office at school. She dresses pretty much in her school uniform. (polo and khaki pants, skirts, shorts, or skorts) her attitude is usually on the good side. Unless some one really makes her mad. and her behavior is like perfect! she never loses her temper. I really think it is wrong if a parent would let their child do that. Ik they are at anb age you can stop them from almost anything. Keep that girl in the house!!!

No it's not ok. Actually in EVERY state it's illegal to even consent to have sex. The youngest I've ever seen on the Age of consent was 14 and that's rare. It's not right. It's never been right. And it's never going to be right. That's why we've got so many teen moms. . .parents not putting their foots down and spanking those behinds. I'm and older and still a virgin, what happend to being PROUD in that fact. And I have a boyfriend who's 5 years older than me and he's a virgin too. I think the worlds going to hell in a handbasket, if it isn't their already. Parents are to worried about being buddies and not parents. God stand up and spank your kids they need it. They need Parents not friends they have friends.

absolutely not acceptable!
the problem, in the UK at least, is, how do we as parents discipline our kids if we can't smack them? if kids "bunk off" /don't show up for school, it's the parents that get sent to jail! what they hell is all that about?! these yobs roaming around our streets needs a good clipping round the ear and NOT as the British government once did (don't know if it's still in force), 'send young offenders on a 2 week holiday (vacation)' coz "they are only underprivileged kids, that's why they do what they do. if you saw something nice, they will change..."
well guess what?.. most of the kids that went on these all expenses (expensive) holidays, robbed the first store they set foot in whilst on holiday! parents should be given back their powers!

The spelling of the question should be "..wouldn't you think that would be acceptable" (as in able to be accepted), and the answer is emphatically (really strongly)..

No

Just think of how much time you will lose (that you could spend developing your grammar), while taking care of your unexpected new child that happened as a result of your union. Hopefully, your parents might be willing to help you care for the child, otherwise it's going to be a tough road watching your parents raise your child while resenting you the entire time.

Children should not be having sex that young, but just saying so won't stop them. Parents need to be able to talk to their children about sex. Some parents forget they have a responsibility to guide their children as they are growing up, and aren't good role models.

Remember the old commercial "It's 11:00, do you know where your children are?"

Please bear in mind with my answer that my opinion is far from typical.

I am of the opinion that sex is healthy. If one is careful and uses protection in order to avoid pregnancy and STDs, I see no reason against people of any age having sex.

The reason the parents seem so strict is that they are reluctant to realize that their little babies are starting to be people of their own. They don't feel that you know enough yet to make informed decisions. This is why it is so important for parents to teach their children about sex at a young age.
