I think it depends on the person. I mean i know Black females tend to have a Bigger butt than White or Asian females. But in the Black community there are some women that have a small but to us, but to someone of another race it would be a big butt. So it really depends on who is looking. I mean I thought Janet Jackson had a HUGE butt on the BET awards but some guys think a huge but is a good thing. It also really depends on how your body is shaped. So they say a big butt is on that is like a table and you can put sometime on top of it. Like it sticks out far from your back. But some guys think that is that best. who knows. I guess it depends on who is looking!

This is actually a good question, although I didn't think so at first.
The answer is "it depends", because every individual person has a different view on what constitutes a "big butt".
Some will say it's a matter of proportion; if it looks oversized compared to the rest of the body. Others will say it's an absolute thing; for a given height, anything over a certain weight makes the butt big, even if it's proportional. Still others will say that it's based on appearance, shape, presence of cellulite, and so on. A large group of people will say "there's no such thing", or "I actually like big butts" (and not just Sir Mix-a-Lot.)
So there's no single answer for this one.
EDIT: if your criteria for a "big butt" is "*** wider than hips", I have bad news for you -- you're not attracted to women's butts, you're attracted to butts that look like they belong on preadolescent boys. But to each their own, I guess.

I have a big butt therefore I can speak on this. A big butt is big when you are more butt than hips.
