We have an employee from Chicago who has spent all day voting for AJ. I promised not to rat her out if she also voted for Nomar.

Im not sure. I picked Hafner, i thought he was the best on there. I put AJ as my 2nd choice, because im a Sox fan and i gotta help out my home team, but the Sox already have 6 other guys going to the All Star game so i picked Hafner first.

I feel the same way! We need a good pitcher (Liriano) much more than we need Pierzynski. I am worried this selection is going to hurt us. Liriano would have been a huge asset.

I would have picked Verlander and then Liriano. Pierzynski got picked because he's the most well-known. This is why fans shouldn't get to pick.

Pierzynski was the worse pick possible. Even Ramon Hernandez deserved the spot more than AJ.

Cause theres a bunch of Whitesox fans out there that voted. Get your teams fans to vote for your player and they will make it. Thats two years in a row the Sox have had their player voted in. Its great isn't it.

Because all the Chicago fans "punched" him.
Verlander is a rookie, and will have his day in the sun soon enough.
