If they have broken you trust and abused you, it is very easy to start hating someone you once loved. But you also need to rethink the situation - did you really love them in the first place?

You dont just stop loving someone but you can alter your thoughts about them and maybe that turns into hate, especially if they hurt you time and time again.

Sometimes we hate the things people do to us because it causes us deep emotional pain, but is it hate or anger we're expressing? who knows, a bit of both I think.

They say theres a thin line between love and hate, but a love thats real and true would never want to hurt the other person in the first place.

Unfortunally, not all love relationships are ment to last, and more so the ones that hurt us are the ones best getting out of, especially where the love and trust has been broken.

Any hate you may feel will eventually subside, its not something you want to carry around with you. Remember time is a healer and remember most of all, that you deserve better.

First you do not have to hate some on reason that you want to stop loving that person.
Second put a boundary to your love. You don’t require hating.
Move on with your life. It is defiantly not easy. But consider life is not easy at all and every day you have to learn something hard and this is one mile stone.
So get used with your new life which does not include your previously considered loving person

Love and hate are not two things you can turn on and off just like that. They have to be cultivated over a period of time. Good luck on this though. Tip: if the person has hurt you really bad, it would make it easy to hate them.

In all reality, you can't stop love. Hate is equal to Love in the sense they are both emotions. It is only when you feel nothing as you would for a complete stranger, then you do not love or do not hate. I hope that's comprehensive, cuz it confused me a little.

I learned that loving and hating are both very powerful emotions and as long as your feeling one or the other your still emotionally involved. It is when you get to that center place of neither love or hate, that you really win.

Because you have not stopped loving that person. Because there is always forgiveness when you fall out of love. And you never fall out of love completely, there is always a part of love for that person in you heart, it just differs from what we call "being In Love".

There have been problems for awhile that you didn't address it really wasn't a gradual feeling change. Just a bunch of little things adding up and up and up to make you see someone different when you look at them. Get out now it's over.

The opposite of Love is not hate. The opposite of love is indifference. When you hate you still care.So stop dwelling on it & go out & have some fun.Life is to short to be all obsesive with someone that does'nt want to be with you.

Hate only devalues u as a person.
No point in living w/ anger & malice (don't dish out what u aren't prepared to eat urself....kharma)

I understand that u may be hurt, now; it will pass w/time
Spend this time on positive activities-parties, friends, reading, fitness, pampering, etc.

If you spend time planting seeds of bitterness; you'll only harvest destruction
