It depends where in Texas and where in California. In California it is cooler at the beaches than inland. In Palm Springs for example it is 110 degrees and 80's at the beach today and 90's in the valley of L.A. . Most of the Inland Empire cities are all in the 100's and very high 90's in the Summer. It's a big state with all kinds of weather. And who ever said coastal cal. never gets higher than 77 is full of it. It has been in the 90's in Long Beach for over two weeks. And it is in the 80's plenty in the Summer right on many of the beaches in different cities here. I should know, I have lived here since 1970.
