Or, do you just wear them to be in-style. They look like they would be rather irritating, kinda like having a permanent wedgie.

I think once you get over the initial permanent wedgie feeling they actually become more comfy then others. I always looked at is another thing that fit into my busy lifestyle. I didn't have to pick my a$$ anymore because it was pointless. However, since they came out with the cute little boy short panties I am hooked. For awhile I hated them. But now I am back to occasional panty picking. I love them. I also think you have to have a great a$$ for thongs to be attractive. Which as I am now reaching 30yrs old don't seem quite as cute as it did in earlier years. LMAO

Some are, some aren't. Visible panty lines are ugly - that's what thongs are for. Get them in a nice fabric and they are quite comfortable - you can almost forget that you are wearing anything at all. I would never wear a thong to be "in style." It's more function than fashion.

I don't really mind them. It's a lot better than wearing the binkini underwear which are going to end up going up you *** anyway. I actually think that there comfortable and I also don't have panty lines when I were dresses and when i wear tighter pants. I would rather be looking hot and not have a panty line showing then to have guys look and make fun.

Thongs are actually very comfortable, at least in my opinion. When I first started wearing them, it was kinda weird, but I'm used to them now.

It depends on the material really if they are cotton yes very comfortable...just depends I have wore some that have just really pisssed me off and just took them off because they ride up but have wore some that don't bother me...i prefer to not wear anything at all...really only time I wear them is when my hubby picks out the ones for me to wear that night.

I have a big booty and they work out perfect for me,
I still can remember with regular undies, they were always stickin up my a... and doing everything to take them out without anyone noticing.
thongs are not only confortable, but they are sexy and prevent you from having that ugly seam when wearing jeans...
I would never go back, I even wear thongs or g-strings when on my period...

honestly, i thought they were terrible, but then i tried it...they are awesome. Its kinda like *dont get grossed out* a tampon. you just forget its there. Its nice not to have four feet of fabric covering you. you dont feel suffocated and it doesnt squeeze parts of you that shouldnt be squeezed. i can honestly say that my thongs are unseen and covered at all times, and i just wear it for the comfort

Honestly, since I discovered thongs I never went back...they are very comfortable once you get used to how they feel. All my hundred or so panties are different types of thongs!

some are very comfortable. i think it depends on the style. but then again, some normal underwear can be horribly uncomfortable, so i think it just depends on the person wearing them & yeah.

I though that they would be uncomfortable but I tried a pair & wear them most of the time now.
