well i have an ipod and when i go to listen to my music it wont let me go to one song it skips to another one. why?

its defective. my friends did that & she just went & got it switched

it did not get copied onto ur ipod. So go into itunes and make sure it plays there. Then just try to re copy it onto ur ipod.
