Motorola launched their new phone "Q". I know someone that needs to buy this but an unlocked version. 1. Can the "Q" be unlocked? 2. Will this work with all GSM carriers - US & International / Europe / Asia? 3. How much does this cost 4. How much does it cost to unlock the Q? 5. Can it be used with pre-paid cell phone services in Europe & Asia?

If you could get the phone "unlocked", you still would not be able to use it on a GSM network. The Motorola Q is CDMA based and GSM is a different wireless technology.
