All free web hosts suck. You get what you pay for, in this case you get a shared server with little, if any support.

They offer LOTS templates as well as the ability to put in your own code. They offer lots of services, even for the free account. Of course you get more if you get a paid account, but the free ones are really good. I have used tripod for several different websites.

U want free website construction, or host? If construction, try angelfire.com , geocities.com , and possibly webcrawler.com(or metacrawler.com, can't remember which) I've never found any free hosts, although that doesn't means they don't exist.

For a free and easy to build website go to http://www.tripod.com unfortunately like most free sites you will have ads...but if you run into money down the road it is cheap to get them to turn the ads off.

Now for the free domain...after building your site at Tripod go to http://www.shorturl.com and create the domain name

I have a friend who uses forumer and has a cool site. I tried bravenet and it sucks... bravenet/bravehost claims to be the largest..use one that one of your friends use so they can show you how to run the inevitable maze they run you through..
