I have a few (in no particular order): Mushroom Samba is just silly fun, as I love Ed. Pierrot le Fou (not sure if that's the name of the episode, but that's who's featured) is bizarre, scary, artistic, and profoundly sad all at the same time. Finally, Toys in the Attic is creepy, funny, and suspenseful--some have even theorized that the entire crew dies of the bite from the creature, and that the rest of the series is a sort of dream sequence. I don't know how much I buy that, though.

The best episode is really a two-parter. Episodes 25 & 26, "The Real Folk Blues, Pts. 1 & 2"
This is the climax of the entire series. Spikes back story is explained and Faye even finds out her past.
The gun battle at the very end is epic and Spike keels over on that stairway apparently dead, but is he?
In the end it doesn't really matter because there'll always be a faction that says yes he died and another that says no he didn't. What better way to end a series than with a controversy over the survival of the main character?
Cowboy Bebop is one of the top three of my favorite animated series of all-time. Batman the animated series, and Samuri Jack are the other two. I give the edge to Bebop because of the soundtrack. Awesome!

Either Mushroom Samba or Cowboy Funk. I like both because their very funny and also have good action. The first one is the best episode with Ed. In the second one, has a great scene where after the other cowboy concedes, his horse just happens to come out of the elevator just at the right time for him to ride off into the sunset.

The "Ballad of Fallen Angels" is my favorite. The artistic nature of that episode blows me away every time I see it. The music for that episode is probably some of the best soundtrack work for any single episode of any anime I've seen. That is the one episode that I watch over and over again and can't get enough of. My favorite scene is when spike throws the grenade just as he is thrown from the stained glass window. The song "Green Bird", that is playing while he is falling and having his flash backs, I think is so awesome and really fits the feel of the scene. Out of all the episodes, that is the one to me that stands above all the rest.

Well, I guess the movie can be considered an episode, can't it?
Well, anyways, I like the movie. It's cool. I like how they develope the story, and I like the emotion that it leaves you with. That whole biowarfare thing and everything was so cool...

I think it's a tie between Toys in the Attic and Sympathy for the Devil. "The lesson? Never leave things in the fridge."
Sympathy for the Devil had one of the weirdest characters in the series.
