I say the ACC is the strongest conferance in college sports. With schools that include Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech, Boston College, North Carolina, Duke, NCST, GA Tech, and Clemson how could you go wrong? Both the men and women sports programs are strong in all arenas. Which conference do you think can even compete with the ACC overall and why?

The Big Ten is the power conference:

Men's Basketball: Typically 7 to 8 strong make the NCAA Tournament each year. Indiana, Michigan State and Illinois are virtual locks every year. Few schools in the country can boast as many as 5 National Championships won by the Hoosiers. Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, Purdue, Ohio State and Minnesota all have impressive resumes. Consider the recruiting class that the Buckeyes have coming in for the 2006 season. Greg Oden...does any more need to be said?

Football: All out elite. Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State are always mentioned in any college football conversation. If you pick up any 2006 prediction magazine you will see Ohio State listed in the top 5 for winning the next title.

Men's Soccer: Indiana has won 7 National Championships. That says it all.

This is just a sampling of what I think easily shows that the Big Ten is, if nothing else, on par with the talent of the ACC.
