Ok, so four things:
1. Skin Damage
2. Tanning
3. Money
4. Mystic Tans
1. No matter where you tan, indoor or outdoor, some skin damage will occur. I tan indoors almost 3-4 times a week and I havent seen anything, SO FAR. You do get more freckles and some sun burns, but that's has much as I have seen. Obviously, more will come when I age (ha, only 17)
2. I love people that I see walk into my Tanning Salon and say they want to tan so the next day they will become dark. They dont realize that they need to build a BASE TAN, then tan ATLEAST 2-3 times a week to keep it going. I think yes, if tan ONCE a day, you will become a little darker. Also that depends on the bed and lotion you get.
I have tanned for about a year now and am pretty tan. I was very pale, and have worked my way up in beds and am pretty dark now.
If you are pretty tan to begin with, you would want to ask your salon's employee's about your tanning schedule. You might have to tan for 4 mins, the first time, then 15 the last time. It all depends on the skin.
3. What you really need to think about is, how much money are you going to shell out for beds. My store that I go to is about 500.00 for 30 tans. Some, lower end places, are 200 for 30 tans, but the cheaper you go, the lower quality bed you are going to get. The place that I attend goes by tans, not minutes. I have visited some places and they charger you by minute, which to me is weird.
Also if you were thinking about getting a few tans, you might shell out 4.00 to 100.00 PER TAN. This is not something that you would want to buy PER TAN. You would want to ask your local tanning salon about a PACKAGE, as they call it.
4. Mystic Tanning is probably one of the worst inventions on the planet. You think self tanners make you ORANGE, try this. It makes your really orange and it fades and spots. I DO NOT recommend this.
Last but not least. If your are looking for a tan and not willing to risk your skin, I would go to a self tanning product. It def. is safer.

Tanning in a Tanning Bed for 1 day is bad.
Appreciate yourself for who you are, not for the goldness of your skin.

You shouldn't go to a tanning bed at ALL. Especially that often. Each time you go, you increase your risks for skin cancer. The best thing to do is test different self-tanning creams to find one you like. I like the one from Neutrogena...I apply it with a nylon bootie so I can get my hands too.

Yes, tanning in a tanning bed for a month is bad. All tanning is bad and increases your risk for skin cancer.

I definitely wouldn't go everyday since your skin can't handle it. Maybe 2 times a week max... my advice would be to buy some tanning cream...Clinique makes a great one!

Yes it's bad. You could try a spray tan. I did it and it worked really well. Just be careful not to put TOO much barrier cream on your hands and feet, just put it on like lotion with a little bit extra but put A LOT extra on your nails and the underside of your hands and feet. : )

tanning beds happen to use some of the most harmful UV rays and promote wrinkles even though tanning salons say they are safe they are not

you'll look like you fake-baked for a month. Later on in life, when your skin looks like leather because you tanned too much, you'll understand.
