my best freinds a boy and he's having a sleep over.but its at a hotel, boys and girls are invited, and my moms not down with that. she says she trust me, buts its just that she does'nt trust the other kids that were going,she thinks they might rape me or something.shes a very negative person, but anyways, tomorrows the party and all day ive been trying to convinse her to let me go.what are some thing i can say to her that would probably change her mind about leting me go.

What if you asked her if you can still go to the party but she can pick you up by a certain time, like 12:30am?

Well i am also a parent and i dont think it's a good idea to have a sleep over with guys and girls at the same time. Moms know best and you should just let this one pass and maybe in the future one of your friends will have a sleep over where it will be all girls. If you take the time and look at the news you might understand why your mom feels that way. Kids tend to do some strange things nowadays. You cant really trust letting your child go off to a hotel of all places for a sleep over. besides who will be the chaperone to make sure that the kids stay in order. And why would they have a sleep over in a hotel? Your mom means no harm by what she's doing she just has your safety in her best interest.

A sleep over at a hotel????!!!! Your Mom is right not to let you go it's a recipe for disaster. Your Mom is protecting you and that is her job, she loves you enough to say no when it matters most. Thank your lucky stars that you have a Mom with common sense, the other kids are not being raised properly.

I don't think there is anything you could do to change her mind. Now thanks for making me feel old...I have to side w/mom. Not knowing your age but anything under 17 NO WAY. There are two words that make it a big NO= HOTEL & BOYS there is no way I would let my kid do that. Hotel in parent talk means no supervision and boy/girl party with no supervision means I have to worry about drinking and sex. She is not going to change her mind. Sorry sweetie.

tell her u really really want to go and it would mean alot to u. eventually she should learn to trust u. Altho i cant go to sleepovers either, but my mom lets me go until wen all the other girls actually sleep or wen its past midnite. maybe u could ask her tat.
