It seems that many nations are in a precarious position. Expecially China. If the U.S takes action against N. Korea, then China has no choice but to help their allies. Then Russia may intervene because China is behind Russia. So now we have:

United States ,Britian, Japan, S. Korea vs Russia, China, N. Korea and the UN

Could you see this happening? Also, how about the draft. America might be forced to implement it to win.

I don't think N. Korea will bring about WWIII. That dubious honor, I believe, will be reserved for Iran. All N. Korea really wants is for the rest of the world to respect it and take it seriously (which is really difficult given the idiot in charge over there). Iran, on the other hand, wants nuclear weapons because they've managed to convince themselves that they have a mandate from God to *use* nuclear weapons to wipe Israel off the planet and then start in on America.

North Korea just wants to rattle the sabre; Iran actually wants to initiate nuclear war, and I'm sure that's ultimately what they will do.

I really believe that America is in the most difficult and volitile situation since the Cuban missile crisis of the 60's This so called leader of Korea makes Nakita Krushshev look like a boyscout. If the free nations of the world cannot see this coming then yes, were are headed for WWIII in a hurry.

I see your point, nations against nations, but it won't be N. Korea attacking first, it will be the U.S.
May it won't happen, But I can't remember who was ask the question What would world War 3 be like and how will it effect the world, and the guy's answer was it would be an all out nuclear war that would destory the whole world.

You have very valid points. However I sometimes think that perhaps that China wouldn't retaliate if the US attacked NKorea. Do you think they would risk the megaBILLIONS of dollars in commerce with the US over such a worthless nation as NKorea?

If the war scenario you just laid out happens, you will be in it.
So will I and I'm 44.

It will not be like Iraq.....where you "knew a guy from school that went". We will all be in the service because we'll be fighting for our lives.

I am sick to death about war. Why the hell doesn't Bush bring our boys home::take care of America::And let those other countries take care of themselves. They owe us billions fo dollars, spit in our face when we try to help them ,and we have starving people right here at home. The way I see it, it's time for America to take of America.

Unless they have better equipment, I don't even see that they have the ability to START a war!

The guy running that country is just an out-of-control nutjob.
