why do mostly teenagers get on yahoo answers and talk about suicide so much...when they have so much to live for and a life ahead of them,,can anyone tell me???maby its not all teenagers but its a lot of people wonting to commit suicide..

Because they have never been afflicted with real problems.
So incredibly small issues become larger than life to them. Ever wonder why the suicide rate is high ONLY in the developed countries? how come folks don't commit suicide in Bangladesh were life makes Christians version of Hell a desirable place to be? Because they have something to fight for, most of these kids have no reason to live and so a bad haircut makes their lives miserable.

Because we live in a age were sensible people are more effected by bad influence. Some are sick of being poor or that have problems (personal, in the family, mental or physical). I have nightmares that I was killed or moments were( I do not really know why) I ask myself what will happen if I die or disappear. Of course I don't want want to kill myself, we all "hunted" by the bad parts of this world.I study arts and i heard that lately artists are getting more depressed. This is life good or bad bad or good, but we can change some in good.

teens are ignorant and emotional, I would know being a teen myself. Most people blame it on some kind of chemical hormone thing that I really don't know much about, but, truth is, even though we are only teenagers, things get to us. Stress, depression, sometimes we just get sick and tired of things. Usually its just a phase though. Lord knows I've been there and done that, but I'm over it, and thats usually what happens to most teens.

I will never understand suicide....God has given us each new day as a gift. I think we need to look for the positive things in life and enjoy each day to the fullest!

cuz to some teens that have been severly hurt think it is their ownly way out. they don't relize that there is people out there that will help them out of the problem they are in and that there is safe places to go. i know a friend who was sexually abused by her dad from 4 up she was 16 wanted to die cuz she seen no way to get away from her dad cuz nobody would believe her since her dad was a big wig in town. i help her get out of it. i gave her references where she can go that would believe her and help her. to her there was no way out accept to die but having someone there to guide her to show her that she had strength to move on was what she needed and that is what many teens need to relize. when they write on here they are reaching out to others to help them. all they need is some guidence from a stranger to pull them through

It's a way to express their hurt without being sent away (if you will). I know that I could have used an ear when I was like that but I got through it.

i wanted to commit suicide before because i thought noone liked me so i thought the best thing 4 me 2 do is kill my self but it's because they don't like them selves, pressure,school,body, it could be anything.

bcuz they have poor social skills and want to belong but cant so they become some emo crap, thats one thing and theres many others, they are just confused and immature if they never grow out of it, they should die, cuz theyre too much of a baby

I have never read about teens and suicide in this site.
But it must be because the lack of love (from family). that's all.
