Does no one remember (from school) that the President of the United States has very little power? Everything has to pass through Congress (The Senate and The House of Representatives) - who also puts bills on the President's desk for him to sign or veto.

You guys need to face the fact that we are living under Conservative/Republican rule - they are the majority in both the House and the Senate. People have voted in these senators and representatives - maybe next time they'll vote differently.
