What's the other option you would like to see implemented? Currently there is no way around it unless of course you want to see both semi final matches played on the same day at the same time. This is because of the semis are played on the same day but at different times, the team which played first will have more resting hours than the second game winners.Would that be ok with u?

For some reason this tournament seems shorter than other world cups. Didn't they used to have rest days between the group stages and the last 16? And wasn't there a gap of a week between the semis and the final?

there is no problem with that as long as by the end of the day they have had their rest. have you forgotten that when italy and germany were playing, france and portugal were resting? they didn't play on the same day so its equal.

Observant Jews guard their animals. they commence the Sabbath relax at sunset Friday, and ensure previously that each and every thing is dealt with, mutually with the 24 hours of relax which finally ends up sunset Saturday. No reason to stress about their animals in that appreciate.

I don't think so, but my opinion doesn't count for anything with FIFA.
