What can you aford for housing; what do you do for a job.

if you're a teacher, a nurse, a social worker there are lots of jobs. if you do manual work then there are jobs too. But if you are like the rest of us in cut-throat skilled/semi-skilled jobs you may find getting a job hard.

Experience and qualifications are the key.

Select where you want to live before the job, as we can work anywhere but you have to love where you are going to live.

the houses are expensive and technolodgy and clothes and make-up and yes it is easy to find a jop just look at the local news papers but getting a non educational job will only give you low wages . its very hard to get a nice big house in the uk very hard indeed unless you win the jackpot on the lottery
council houses are meant to be cheap and quite spacious but scruffy and no front gardens or anything and can be dangerous in some areas as there are yobs on the street

Britain is a very expensive place but the cost of living to what you earn is much better than in most countries.

Best thing to do is stay away from the big cities as these are the more expensive for shops and houses, although you do normaly get paid a little more to compensate, but they are the easiest place to stay.

Good luck on your move

That depends on what you want to do... there are loads of unskilled jobs, but pay is poor... the cost of living depends where you are..... generally though the cheaper places have fewer jobs on offer...
