I think it would be a real good idea if you meet someone first. You know, get to know the person before you live under the same roof? You've never been married - I can tell because anyone who is married or has been knows it is not a joke and it can be work. You need to mature to get to that point. Moving two people under the same roof before knowing about each other is one of the biggest mistakes a person can make. But if you want to learn from your mistakes, then go ahead.

I'm sorry that you're getting all of this banter, but you should have expected it, with such an intimate and personal question. No one here probably has the answer for you as most people are still waiting for that special relationship themselves. However, I'm going to try to give you the answer anyways. LOLOLOL
I'm not sure about your religious affiliations, but try church OR a local common interest group or something. It doesn't sound like you're much into the club scene. Good Luck with that.

I know someone that met someone off www.match.com. I think there are agencies (ok, it costs a bit more) that actually set up people who are at that stage of life really just knowing they want to be married. Then another of my close friends joined the church (she did believe) and prayed to God every day for 2 years. 5 years ago - she's still married :-)

Whatever works for you. But you never know - you might be intended to meet your soul mate at a later age, I've known of people waiting 60 years! Many people meet 'the one' in their 40's, despite years of dating, and in some cases, marriage.

Good luck!

Yes beware of the mail order brides. They are very materialistic and they will only stay married to you for the required amount of time which is 2 years.

First find a friend... Then listen to that friend...

And maybe you'll get lucky and find a wife...

However, you need to look for something before a wife... Unless you go to abroad..

you can't just go get a wife, most blokes meet someone in a bar, fall in love with them, marry them, cheat on them, then bury them. stay single, wish I had.
