It depends on how long you have known the person, your age and the nature of your feelings. Loving someone is not the same as being IN love. I think as long as you're about 18 or older and you've been with your honey for at least a year and you want to grow old with this person, you can see their past in their eyes and you would do anything to stay together, nobody else - then you're probably in love. Infatuation and lust are strong a lot of times, but those feelings usually die out after a short period of time. When the smoke clears, you see you weren't in love. Being in love takes time. It does not happen at first glance or overnight. I do NOT believe that a person can be in love with more than one person at a time. I think you can LOVE two people at once, but that's about it. Being in love is lasting deep love when you love someone more than yourself and you are willing to die for them and grow old with them and do everything to make it work. You never cheat or abuse that person.

Love is when you care about something else in no regard for self, or your own being. Infatuation is when you care about something else only for what it does for you and nothing in return.

Love is something you just feel. It's that tingly feeling that you get inside when you're around that person. You'll find yourself wishing that he was the one standing next to you or talking to you at that moment but it's all love.

When your stomach hurts when they are out of sight. You awake to find yourself in a conversation and don't even know who your talking to. You find yourself looking out the window for them, listening for the phone, and you can't breathe when they are near or talking to talk you. Can't think, act, or do anything complete right without having to start over...........love baby.....LOVE

u know ur in love when the guy ur w/ makes u feel special he respects u and loves u 4 who u r not wat u have or do. Nobody is perfect but wen ur in love w/ some1 in ur eyes his perfect. Love is a little complicated but wen the right guy comes along you'll Now just trust yourself.

You just..know. With my last boyfriend, he wanted to say "I love you" to me, but I knew I didn't feel that strongly. I said it back because I didn't want to hurt him...but I knew it wasn't real love. With my current boyfriend, I knew I was in love! Like I said, you'll know when it happens. You'll feel it.
