An easy, low maintenance pet has got to be a ............Budgie! If you choose a very young one, around four months old,and male, you will have great fun! The fascinating antics of a single bird,as well as its ability to talk make the choice of a young c*ck more desirable.A single bird usually becomes very tame indeed.I have had four Budgies, and each one had a different character, and I loved every minute of it!

Birds are not really low maintenance pets, unless you're considering something small like finches or budgies. Large parrots are some of the most demanding, high maintenance pets you can legally buy.
Cats are pretty low maintenance. They are self-cleaning (except for the litter box), and most of them are not terribly demanding of attention. If you get two, they mostly keep each other amused. Short-haired cats are easier to clean up after, and don't have as much trouble with hairballs.
Dogs can be great fun to have around, but in general require a lot more time and effort. Even if you have two they still need lots of people time, and of course they have to go outside several times a day. Most of them also need regular grooming.
If you're getting a cat or a dog, please consider adopting from a shelter! There are lots of unwanted pets out there looking for homes. Every year, millions get put to sleep because they can't find homes. Please think about that when looking for a pet.

Cats are the easiest and most enjoyable...rodents, birds and fish are not a lot of fun. Cleaning cages is no fun and it is easier to change a litter box. If you go away for a few days a cat is fine by itself with lots of food and water. You can't do that with a dog and they are high maintenance. Cats don't chew up everything but they will scratch the furniture so they will need a scratching post and need to be taught not to scratch the couch.

most of the time a cat is the best animal to get. Dogs are hard to take care of and take a lot of maintenance. Birds are not a fun pet to have although they are easy to take care of. They dont do much. Cats are easy to tkae care of and fun. All you have to do is clean there litterbox everyday, give food and water, toys and lots of love. Almost every breed of cat is the same unless you get a purebred (they cost A LOT of money). purebreds can be snotty but mostly there gorgeous. if you get a purebred, get a ragdoll. I have one and she is so great. Good luck and i hope you have fun with whatever you get.!!

If you want a low maintenance pet, do not get a dog or a cat. They both require a lot of attention and care, especially dogs. A bird would be less maintenance. If you want something fluffy, maybe a bunny.

i love my bettas. they are low maintaince compared to different pets. I even ought to modify the water, feed them, make certain they don't seem to be ill and take care of the water if needed. yet i do not ought to stroll them, puppy them, replace the muddle container or enable them outdoors. The nutrition is about 3 money and lasts for years. not ten money a minimum of a month. i love the little boys I actually have.

If you want an animal that is easy to take care of a kitten is A LOT easier than a puppy. You have to give all your time and effort into owning a puppy but kittens are not that difficult to care for.

There is a web site that you put in your information on what you want in a pet and they will tell you your match. In search just put in breeds I think you'll find it there. They ask things like how much time will you spend with your pet, where do you live .

I love cats, they're small they dont shed much hair (unless u get one with long hair) so thats not much to clean up, and you mainly just have to pet them (like any pet) and feed, and water them- so not much maintanance. Plus they're small, so if you had to take them any where getting a little box, or somthing to put them in while you take them with you isnt that bad-
