where was i before i was born into my body and why dont i remember?

Some that believe in reincarnation say that the process of rebirth is painful and blocks out our memories of our previous life. Others say we close ourselves off to the truth. And those who don't believe in reincarnation say that you weren't anywhere before you were born, so naturally you have no memories.

Remembering is a function of the mind. When you were born, the mind became active in another way. You were scattered across time and space until this body was put together. So, you where around before you were born but not necessarily the form you are in now, not to mention, how can one even provide you with a location, a "where"? None of us really know where HERE is! As in this world, this life, this ball this time. But hey, I can not really remember either.

Where you were before you were born into your body is a question for which only you can find the real 'location' experientially looking at it. This looking is of a kind beyond the sense organs. And it is for the SAME reason that you don't 'remember' where you were. This memory we have is a collection of inputs received through sense organs. When our inner awareness travels else where, our teacher at our school asks us "Hey , where are you, Please be here in the class" ! And we do miss what happened in that class ! Similarly during sleep, our experience of life is beyond sense organs, so we miss the 'where we were ' during our sleep state. And sorry if I scare by reminding, it is going to be the first problem when we walk out of the body when this body meets 'death' ! And that is where spirituality 'walks in' to a person's life, and knowing the purpose of life gets to be important !

Memory is fragmentary and elusive. You don't remember your own birth or the first few years of your life; in fact, you don't remember the vast majority of what's happened to you in your lifetime. As to where you were before being born, it was a warm but secluded place called a womb. Safe and cozy, but not as much fun as the big wild world.

The before life. Your spirit guide will tell you in your sleep if you talk to him or her before you go to sleep and be sure you pray to the almighty everyday and give homage everyday. Thank your creator for everything positive and thank him for teaching you lessons if you have learned anything from the negative.
