i found that verizon has the best coverage. i get at least one bar in the most obscure places. dont get nextel; its too inconsistent. this is in terms of actually phone coverage. for additional things like music, video, ringtones, i would think cingular is the best.

Hi I would recomend cingular , It has the best signal of all I have used , I have used Nextel, Sprint , T mobile , and Virizon, all of the others lost signal in the hilly area that I live in . I have read that cingular has lousy coustomer service , however I have had no complaints. Hope this helps you make up your mind.

I have phone service with Vonage. It has unlimited long distance and costs only around $25.00. But the main disadvantage is that if you have a problem with the internet, you lose your compiter and phone service and practically cut off from the outside world. Otherwise the phone works fine.
