I think it is a choice everyone has to make. Some suicides are applauded as heroism. Everyone has their own personal demons. Most of us can fight them off very easily, but not everyone is capable. We are human and therefore weak at times. I think sometimes the demons can chase you so far into your own personal hell, that an end to the torture is the only way to help yourself.
I think it is a fair choice for each of us.
Choose wisely. There are ways to improve things, and even a small step in the right direction can relieve more than expected.

As a suicide and crisis intervention counselor of 9 years I can tell you that time has taught me that suicide is a permanent solution to what is most likely a temporary situation. It is not fair because for something to be fair there has to be some balance between the options which means that there is just as much justification for not doing it as doing it. Suicide as an options removes any possibility of the situation being resolved - and it is never resolved because it continues to be dealt with by everyone hurt and left behind. Is it morally wrong? That depends on one's personal beliefs so it will be for some and not others. But it is a waste - a total waste of a life that had a purpose or it would have never been given breath in the first place.

i dont know if it is wrong or right. I know if a person has young kids or other people who love them deeply it is a very selfish thing to do when there are so many other options out there. I do agree however, that it is a personal choice, and religious or right wing people would like to tell you that you are horrible and try to mandate it just like everyother thing they think is wrong. quite honestly, im so sick and tired of the GOP pushing thier principles (or what they call principles) on society. For example, gay marriage, they are not allowing it for what reason?? because the bible says so. And here i thought the government didnt have a religious bias. Wrong again! Its time for a separation of the church and state and give the people their real 1st amendment rights. ok sorry got on a rampant. (:

I do not think that a person who has been motivated to live exclusively because of moral is a very good thing for him/herself and for others. Words "fair", "moral" do not fit in this case at all. I am sure that some people who commit suicides are themselves in very "unfair"situations and it would be like to blame a victim. I think nobody commits it because of super happy life, seeing multiple choices.

Socialy, I think that suicide is tragic. How could we as humans not know if someone was feeling so depressed and not do anything to help. Suicidal people are not in the right state of mind to make that "choice" so however you might feel about it, its a moral issue on all sides, even us who just stand around and do nothing to help.

First, suicide isn't continually a selfish act. those who're considering suicide are frequently wondering about how they could help the persons round them by using eliminating themselves from the difficulty. If someone thinks they are ruining the lives of their loved ones, they sense that they are committing a SELFLESS act. 2d, the Puritanical heritage of the U.S. overrides all that we do. maximum persons in the U.S. view existence as a present from God. They sense that because we do not chosen when we come into this international, it isn't as a lot as us to take ourselves out. it really is all in how we cost and look at existence. 0.33, i discover it extra of giving up than being immoral. issues can continually get extra acceptable, and committing suicide ability a lack of wish. i am going to understand lacking wish, yet it really is why we've help structures. the man who has no help from loved ones, acquaintances, even strangers has each and every reason to dedicate suicide . . . if no one is there to inform them that there is wish. that is yet another celebration of how suicide isn't continually selfish. If there is not any one there to describe how a lot love and need is in the international, who will "care" that the man is lengthy previous? i comprehend it quite is harsh, yet there are a variety of of folk accessible who've been abandoned by using society (homeless human beings, veterans, and the elderly come to ideas). universal, i imagine this mind-set that suicide is morally incorrect and selfish is narrow minded. that element complaining and deriding suicide should be spent discover those who've no wish and explaining why there is wish.

I guess it could be morally wrong but that really depends on the individuals morals. However i don't think it is 'fair escape of choice' but thats just because i don't think people should end their life before it's meant to end.

suicide is a sin that you can't get forgiven for. If you commit sucide, you do not see the beauty, bright light, feel good. You see demons, snakes, etc. Suicide is the cowards way out. All problems have solutions. I have been to many funerals and a suicide funeral is the worst.

Suicide is a way of giving up without a fight. Most who are religious will look at it as a sin, because life is perceived as a gift from God.
