If the third place match (Germany vs. Portugal ) goes into penalty shots, who do you think would win?

I doubt that it would come to this, but it would be super interesting if it did. I hope Germany wins, though. GO GERMANY! =)

Germany! Gosh that would be so excrutiatingly nerve-wracking to watch!! Though Ricardo's good, I have faith in Lehmann and the rest of the squad; plus, Germany's only lost once in penalties ever, and I don't think they've ever lost in penalties in the WC.

I think Germany will win the game, but if it goes to penalty kicks I believe Portugal would take it...Ricardo's probably just a little better on penalties than Lehmann.

Portugal I think... but I want Germany to win. It's going to be an emotional game for Germany nonetheless... like it should have been in the finals.

I hope it doesn't go there...I become a nervous wreck when that happens...but I think if it were to happen, then Germany would win...they are pretty calm...Portugal is too passionate about stuff not to get a little carried away...

before i answer i just want to say how good both teams were this year. i've been rooting for germany since the begginning, and so i will keep rooting. GO GERMANY. but in the end, both teams deserve this place, because they both have equal, offesive/deffensive players
