I have a bad history of bfs cheating on me with ex's.

I'm 29 and he's 31. When I was dating my bf last year, I noticed he had a tube of facial cleanser on his bathroom counter. He mentioned that it was remnants from an ex-girlfriend. Well finally,5 or 6 months later it was gone. I am wondering if these are red flags. Why did he leave it there for so long for me to see and is there any significance to it being there and now being gone? We have now been together for about a year and a half.

Now he's mentioned that an ex calls him once in a blue moon, I can't stop reflecting on that darn tube of facial cleanser and this "once in a blue moon" ex of his. He did add though, that this ex who calls is not the ex before me. Is this another red flag?

Should I be worried? I need your sincere advice.

It's unfortunate that we are all so worried about being betrayed that a tube of facial cleaner makes us feel paranoid. I can almost gurantee you he did nto analyze the timing of leaving the tube and then throwing it away as a signal to be pondered. He may have finally decided to clean up his bathroom and away it went with all the other assorted trash that he hadn't bothered with for several months. My question to you is; Why didn't you just throw the damn tube away when you found out whose it was? Stake out your territory gf!

Are there other signs he may be straying? Is he late, does he get strange calls at odd hours, does he have reasons he can't meet or forget a date you had?

Maybe you should just let him know when he says that ex's call him it makes you feel a little insecure. How he responds will tell you a lot about his state of mind...unless you tell him that about everything (like a tube of facial cleaner).

If he's sensitive to your feelings he'll introduce you the next time she calls or you can call her on his phone and introduce yourself. Shouldn't be any big deal to him unless he's thinking about or already is stepping out

Maybe he was using the facial cleanser. I mean women's products are better than some of the men's stuff out there and he didn't want to tell you. And you are going to ruin your relationship by all this doubt that you are having. Take him at his word use protection and if you find out that the "once in a blue moon" calls are becoming more frequent then you should worry.

I really dont see why exes always resurfacing .YOu may never know the truth about the facial caleaner or the other ex.Ide tell him that your not comfortable about exes calling and he should put a stop to them calling .he's with you now so has no reason to converse with them and if they dont stop calling change phone number if he cant respect your feelings and wishes then i'de question him until you get further proof, but dont accuse him but keep your eyes open!!!!

hmm, well, you should really have a talk to him about this matter for the fact that it took him a long time to remoe the facial cleanser from his counter. With the call, it depends on what they talk about.. sometimes, ex's call because they want advise on things. Talk to him and tell him how you feel about this and if truly loves you, he will avoid them cause he wouldnt want to hurt your feelings.
