Check out the jobs and "gigs" (mostly short term jobs) on Craig's List for Cincinnati. If you're not familiar with Craig's List, it's a site - by city - with online classifieds posted by people for free (usually), with the newest postings at the top.
I'd recommend just browsing through the job postings by clicking on the word "jobs" and scrolling down to see what was posted today (so far), yesterday, the day before yesterday, etc. as far back as you want to go. They do have the jobs by category, but I like to browse through everything because something you want may be in a category you don't expect or wouldn't have checked.
You can also search through the postings using the usual key words (start with "art" and "teaching" maybe - without the quotes) when you are on the "jobs" and "gigs" main pages. If you type your query into the search bar on the home page, it will search through everything, not just the jobs, and Craig's List has personals, apartments for rent, stuff for sale, etc. So, that could get messy...
They also provide an e-mail service when new postings appear. Click on "subscriptions" near the bottom of the left most column of the home page, and sign up.

Your local newspaper may have job postings online too. Or they may just be a window into CareerBuilder's database of jobs, which is OK, but not really unique to Cincinnati.
Lots of other useful links to employers in Ohio, too, on the Ohio page of Job-Hunt.org.
Good luck!

Check with your school to see if they have any student job openings. I know that UC has a ton of student jobs listed on their websites. Most of them are easy office jobs. While they may be boring, they have good and flexible hours, they understand that school comes first, and they usually offer a decent pay.
If you like working with kids, you could also try to find a job at a daycare/school setting. You could work as an art teacher. Sometimes these places will pay artists to create murals or other works of art for their buildings.
Or if you like retail, try getting a job at a place like Kohl's, Old Navy, Sears, etc. They are always in need of help.

My favorite was Skyline, Empress then Gold Star...Relegated as I am now to middle Georgia I settle with home made mixes of a brand called Cincinnati chili I buy on line from a company in Fair field Oh. Now if I could figure Frisch's tartar sauce this place would be more bearable.
