I don't think so. Everybody needs sex; everybody likes sex (even those who won't admit it); some are willing to pay for sex and others are available to provide that service. Provided there's no coercion, no assault and no fraud involved, then there's no crime.

Given the illegality of prostitution throughout most of the US and given the horrid conditions that prostitutes have to endure, the answer is most certainly, Yes, it is immoral. On the other hand, where prostitution is legal and regulated such as in the Netherlands, so long as both parties are consenting adults, so long as no one is harmed, and so long as no one is committing any other immorality at the time, such as committing adultery by the act of prostitution...the answer would then be NO, where there is no harm, there is no foul i.e. it's not immoral.

morality would depend on which religious group you ask. i'm wicca.
to me, lots of women feel it's their only means of survival. some are just too lazy to get a real job. it's been around for centuries. i think, between consenting adults its fine. scary in todays world but fine. your body belongs to you. you make the decisions about what to do with it.

I don't believe so. Any sexual act involving two consenting adults is none of my damn business. Why should I have the right to decide what happens in other people's bedrooms?

It's one of the oldest professions
Your really just giving a gift in exchange for sex, except this gift is money and not flowers, food, jewelry, etc.

Do some research!!!

I'm saying it's right or wrong, just throwing out the obvious that nobody states.

I dont think its as immoral as it is sorry. I believe in freedom, well, everything, but when you have to pay for sex, youre just a loser.

Yes, in the good book it says that anyone who prostitues thier body is to be disconnected from thier family or anyone that follows. they will put thier family to shame. even if they dont know, God knows and he see's everything. he knows of your sins. its not in those words exactly but some what close.
