does fedex come to your door?

when you get something shipped by fedex will they bring it to your front door? or will they just drop it off to the nearest entrance? and will someone have to be there to sign for it?

It depends on your building. They will usually try to get to your door, if it's possible. If you have no doorman, they'll ring the downstairs bell a few times or come up with the elevator if the door isn't locked. Someone has to be there to sign for the package or they don't drop it off, usually. A doorman can do this if you authorize it.
