Wimp. (j/k)
Burn some nice CDs, and enjoy the scenery.
I've done 2000 miles in 2 1/2 days... on a motorcycle! Trust me, you can survive 400 in a car.
Chosen One: Yeah, I beat the crap out of a Kawasaki Vulcan in May of 2000 to visit my daughter. My ex hadn't sent her out the California to visit me in 3 years, I had a very limited schedule but couldn't afford to fly and get a rental car, so I headed off... I took a little more time coming back.

You didn't mention whether you were the driver or you were the passenger. If you are driver, how about scope your route and pick a few interesting places to go aside from just your destination. This way you have some interesting memories of the drive and perhaps a few extra tshirts from the cool places you may get to visit. Granted you likely have a time frame to work with, but all drive and no play equals boredom. If you are the passenger, then there are loads of things to do, like talk to whoever is driving you, read, pick up a bunch of magazines and flip through entertaining you and anyone else in the vehicle. As either driver or passenger you need music, a book on tape, snacks and sodas. Have fun!

I really don't know what to tell you ... this doesn't seem like a long car ride to me. If you have the time, stop as often as you can along the way to stretch your legs, look at historical markers, eat local food, or talk with small-town people. It'll break up the trip, and you'll feel like you got more out of it than just sitting in a car trying not to fall asleep at the wheel.
Travel mostly during the day, if possible, to avoid road hypnosis.

Calculate the time traveled at each and each and every p.c.: Time traveled at each and each and every p.c. = Distance/p.c. (four hundred/60) + (100 and fifty/40) + (10/25) = 10.8 hours Or as fractions: 6-2/3 hours + 3-3/4 hours + 2/5 hour replacing to complication-free denomiator 6-40/60 + 3-40 5/60 + 24/60 = 9-109/60 hour = 10-40 9/60 hour = 10 hours, 40 9 minutes

Wow! 2000 miles on a bike! Incredible. Anyway as everybody said burn some your favourite songs to cd or cds. Take a good headphone. And you might need a battery too. Good luck!
