Said I finished my degree course and got a first- I didn't I skipped the last year and went travelling around America. I kept the job for six years and on my last day told my boss that I had lied - she said she knew two months in when they contacted QUB!! I have kept ip the lie to get the job I am in now. I wonder if they will check...

Oh no, I could never lie! I'm far too honest, I was once asked how fast I could type (not a secretarial job either so a completely irrelevant question!) and I just looked at the interviewer and said: "well I don't know, no-one has ever asked me that before". It came out like I was implying 'what a dumb @ss question' but it was a completely natural response!

the biggest lie i ever told to get a job was to say that i liked the boss and nothing would be too much trouble and that i would do overtime to get in his good books just to be his pet.has i thought the boss was a male on my first day of my job i was shocked it was infact a female who was strict and when asked to work over time i had to i stood it for 2 weeks then left the man was a stand in for the interview.yes i got found out and fell for it hook line and sinker
