Sometimes I read too but I also write, play games, go out to eat, go shopping, or hang out with friends. You can see what type of stuff is going on where you live. Currently the Taste of Chicago is going on here so I went to that a couple of days ago. You can go to the beach or to an amusement park.

Take a bus and visit your grandma or an aunt you haven't seen for awhile. Go fishing. Walk through beautiful gardens or a greenhouse. Write a poem. Start a journal. Take up painting or drawing. Start a blog online. Write a quick midsummer note to your five closest pals and send them through the mail. Make a tall pitcher of lemonade or sun tea. Give yourself a home spa -- manicure, pedicure, facial.

do you want suggestions on books or do you want suggestions for things to do besides reading? I like to read a lot too but take advatage of the nice summer weather and do outdoor physical stuff too, walk in the park, ride a bike, swim or jog, go camping, go canoeing. for good books to read read everthing by kurt vonnegut and stephen king then read mark twain and the commedies of shakespeare...no scrastch the klast shakespeare wrote plays don't read them, see them.

its good that you like to read, but on a boring summer day? common, go outside and read or something, just don't stay indoors on the dog days of summer.

sounds sick but to tell you the truth.. most enjoyable time waster is Masturbation/exersize/ and doing something productive thats mind bending ... i.e - writing a short story, novel... try this (writing a riddle)... hard work... gotta find question and answer.... or this is wacky... make a test about yourself and give it to you friends.... see which dork knows you the best...(*wink*) have a great summer dude!

Grab a portable CD player, get some good music or a book on disc, and go ride your bike!

get active play a sport go swimming at the nabors pool or at the town pool run through the sprinkler ( i ride horses )

go shopping, go out party!!!, hang with friends, or maybe get ur nails done, ur hair, get a faceal, or go and play with ur dog/cat ( if you have on)
