My inability to control the events that occur in my life. Not being able to plan and accomplish things just the way I imagined I would. Having regrets.

I hate that sometimes your talents are wasted on the work you actually do. I know a lot of books and the media preach following your dream, but reality is a lot of us have to work regular jobs until we can move onto that dream because we have mortgages or kids or whatever the obligations are. So 8hrs of my life 5 days a week sometimes feel like a complete waste of time. By the way, my dream is to be a writer, but sometimes coming home at the end of the day really zaps your desires and inspiration. I suppose it sounds like whining considering so many people in the past overcame adversity to triumph in their individual areas, like Helen Keller, but life is so much different now and there are so many demands. Anyway, good luck to us all, especially with overcoming all those things we hate!

I hate the fact that I have the ultimate freedom to do anything I want with my life and yet I continute to barrell through life acting like an a**hole to everything and everyone. I have the means to change my life and live better, I have the ability to help those in need and still I remain a selfish f***head. The inability to change ones nature is the ultimate curse of life.

I love life, but hate the way people continue to make the same mistakes each new generation. War, violence, hate--such a waste of valuable time.

I like Jason's answer and can relate, but I would have to say the thing that irritates me the most would have to be people like you who ask stupid questions like this. Give me 2 points.

That I have to live in this flesh and bone. I can hardly wait for my "pure energy" body when I get to heaven.
