go online to marykay.com and find a consultant in your area, they will match you with your right foundation color, powder, and you can even get a compact with 3 eye colors a blush, and lipstick that suit your skin tone... they will give you a free mini makeover to see what suits you best..

their makeup might be a little more expensive, but if it works for you, it's money well worth it.. hey you spend tons of cash on things that don't work, why not save that $ and get something that does...

good luck!

Really the only makeup that I know that works great would have to be from Makeup Forever. I use it and its WONDERFUL! Its sylacone based and water proof. The only bad thing about it you might have to buy 2 colors to match you perfect!

Another great thing about it is that its photo friendly so just in case u take a picture ur face will actually be the same color as ur neck!

You can find it at most Sephora stores or buy it online. I use it on myself and my clients and everyone seems to be super happy with it!

I had the same problem! I went to Covergirl, and they didn't even have my skin tone. I thought about M.A.C and that's too pricey. So, I've switched to Maybelline, most of their cosmetics have shades for black women.
