It is possible, have you recently taken a pregnancy test? Usually it's the whole breast, both, that hurt. Most commonly they are sore to the touch. However each woman is different and each pregnancy is different. How much and what specifically types of pain you feel is going to depend on you and only you and how your body reacts. No one can tell you how you will feel, how sore, what kind of pain, or how your pregnancy, labor and delivery goes. It solely depends on your own body, as I stated before each woman is different, each pregnancy is different. Your best bet is to go take a pregnancy test. Oh, one more thing, if you have been using hormones or anything like that to help you conceive, then you may be feeling a reaction from the hormones of whatever you are using to conceive and the hormones from the pregnancy combined. Or if you were on birthcontrol, it may because of that too. I hope this helps some and good luck with conceiving.

I never did feel "real" pain. My felt very full and tender to the touch. They did feel awfully heavy though after awhile and uncomfortable in bras.

The pain I got was when I was breast feeding and I missed a feeding or the couple of times I got a breast infection while nursing (those can really be bad....like having the horrible flu...not only your breasts hurt, but your whole body hurts and you get a fever with it).

If you decide to breast feed, make sure to keep them very clean (water only, though...not soap, it will dry them out and they will crack making for more problems) and make sure to change the little pads you wear in the bra, for leaks, every single time you nurse....even if the pad looks to be dry. The bacteria will begin to grow on the milk that is on the pad and enter the "cracks" in the nipple and then you get the infection.

Good luck and just know, the pain does go away!

I felt my pregnancy through my whole body. To put it in a mystical light, it is as if your body is morphing from yourself into a babypod! It is truely an amazing and enlightening experience. Painful and joyful at the same time.

It sucks. It is like before you have your period when they are sore to the touch. I dont recall any sharp pains tho. I would imagine everyone is different!

Good Luck!!!!

Mine felt sore like when you are about to have your period, and about after 3 weeks of concieving they started to get hard and I could see the blue veins and now they really hurt! like the nipples are very very sensitive, and it just hurts.

It's a bit like an over-ripe grape bursting from its peel.

You asked what it was really like.
